Columbus (based) and Cleveland, Ohio writer, Dan
Moriarty has written several works of fiction, three
novels and eight screenplays, one of which was awarded
the Houston International Film Festival’s coveted prize
for "Best Original Screenplay for a Drama, Abelard and
Heloise."
He writes in several genres but believes drama
and comedy are his strong suits. Mr. Moriarty was also
the recipient of the Cleveland Press award for his essay
on Improving Downtown Cleveland; many of his ideas were
put into effect when they redesigned the Cleveland
waterfront area during the Cleveland renaissance. Mr.
Moriarty is a graduate of Cornell University.
Mr. Moriarty is a member of the Central Ohio Fiction
Writer's (COFW) Organization.
