FleshEater:
Logline:
The joy of a wedding gone sour engulfs
a blind girl and her family in mayhem, madness, and
murder.
Setting: Virginia in the 1930s.
Twin sisters, one blind (Alisha) and stately,
the other beautiful and pampered (Jenny), vie
for their mother’s affection. The mother insists
on a double wedding ceremony for the twins
which, to her horror, results in terror and
death at the altar.
Jenny is confined to a home for the criminally
insane, a place where murder and mayhem
continue. Staff members are found dead. Jenny is
gone. Things at the sanitarium begin to stir
from the crypt just beyond the cemetery. Dr.
Borman, lead psychiatrist at the asylum is
suspicious and he joins forces with Detective
Maurice Goodman as strange deaths mount across
the countryside. Alisha holds the key as the
chase leads through the Pennsylvania hillsides
and to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and
resolution.
